契迪龍寺 (泰語: วัดเจดีย์หลวง, 羅馬化:Wat Chedi Luang, 中文翻譯為「大佛塔寺」)是 泰國 清邁市 中心的一座佛教寺廟,是清邁市六大寺廟中最為著名的一座 [1]。 契迪龍寺初建成時原本是三座寺廟 [註 1],後來三座寺廟合併成為現在的契迪龍寺 [2]。 契迪龍寺始建於1391年,因當時的 蘭納 國王 盛孟瑪 (英語: Saen Muang Ma)想將他父親的遺骨存放在建成後的寺中。 盛孟瑪於1401年去世,此時契迪龍寺尚未建成,於是他的遺孀承接了建設寺廟的工程。 大概由於建築結構穩定性的問題,至到15世紀中期 滴洛拉 王(英語: King Tilokaraj)時代,契迪龍寺才正式完工。 契迪龍寺建成時高82米,底層直徑54米,是當時清邁市最高的建築 [3]。

One of the best sites in Chiang Mai. Really interesting temple half ruined by an apparent earthquake. Still very grand. If you’re lucky, you will also see the Buddhist monks entering the temple. Very intricate and detailed and well worth a visit. We’ve spent there about an hour or even more. You can see monks around the place.
