Aeroflot's history can be traced back to 1923, with the first route linking Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. In 1956, they introduced their first jets for domestic and international routes. The airline alone serves 131 destinations in 50 countries and with the recently formed alliance with Skyteam, is able to reach 1057 destinations in 179 countries.
Aeroflot (SU) is Russia’s flagship carrier and one of the largest airline groups in Europe.
