I'm looking at the 7's, 11's & 19's to go in my small 4m x 3m room. As the nearest ATC dealer is a couple of hours drive from me I think a home demo would be out of the question. I've suffered in the past with bass boom in my small room with KEF LS50's even with the half bung's inserted and well away from the walls.

If you want volume, you'll need as much power as you can give the SCM11's, but it's really down to whether an amplifier can control a loudspeaker, which isn't a volume dependent quality. It's the amplifier's job to tell the speakers what to do. It needs full control over the drive units.
2017年12月16日 · They would be an upgrade over the atc scm7 I think, but maybe you want floorstanders in the 2-3 k kind of bracket to match the quality of the amp, as I’d doubt the plateau would be reached with those neats against such an amp.
