2019年8月31日 · Since recent Windows 10 update my screen backgrounds have all turned black instead of usual white. Can't see how to change this in Personalisation/Settings even after changing background from 'dark' to 'light' - I'm so angry their stupid software took in upon itself to alter how I'd set the laptop up :-(.
2022年2月13日 · I've been taught that programs like Word default to use a white background with black text because it's easier on the eyes than the old phosphorous displays which were always light-on-dark. However, I find more and more that it hurts much less for me to read light text on a dark background; my lenses feel like they're straining less, and irises can relax more due to the lower overall light level.

If you want the Taskbar and Start menu to be black or any other color and all apps to be White: Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom. Set Windows Mode to Dark.
