The RS (and R) are the least interesting boxer bikes, according to BMW (hardly any mention of RS and R in their adverts). The GS has the high sales, the RT (-P) somewhat lower quantity, but probably higher margins.. so the R and RS with both lower quantity and margin are probably last to be updated. My guess would be GSA first, then RT/RT-P ...

2023年5月4日 · Mine has had the cheap stuff for most of its 50K miles. Rotella T6 15W-40 is perfect oil too. Forget that it says "diesel" on the package. BMW Motorrad coolant and bmw car coolant is the same coolant btw. If you don’t have a Motorrad dealership nearby you can get it from a car dealership.

2021年8月5日 · The main difference between model years 2020 and 2021 was changes to meet EUR5 exhaust emissions. The header pipes have a slightly different shape, so engine guards and bash plates designed for a 2018 to 2020 model may not fit a 2021 one and vice versa. The reason being the bike doesn't meet Euro 5 and the deadline to comply is Jan 1 2021. I would think that the K16 will remain on BMW North America's catalog as long as supplies last.
2021年9月4日 · Under powered. Weak brakes. Lot more shifting required than one would expect with a bike with so much torque. Too much vibration. Fixed windscreens are hit and miss based on your height. Touches down to quickly in curves. Foot control issues, namely use and placement though they are adjustable.
