Kotomi is a school girl, she has chin length black hair (sometimes she curls them into puppy ears hairstyle) and brown eyes. and one of the main four girls that the main protagonist Junta Momonari meets.
She is a talented gymnast of Fukoma High and dreams to take her gymnastic talents to Germany. She is best friends with Ami Kurimoto. She also ends up falling for Junta Momonari and decides to get her image changed in an attempt to attract him. However, Kotomi has her own conditional problems to where she has an uncontrollable episode of flatulence when she gets close to boys, she likes a lot. She is very sensitive about this and tries very hard to not let that little gas bubble show up in front of others.
in the Anime, Kotomi is a shy and cute girl of Fukoma High. She is a talented gymnast of Fukoma High and Ami's best friend. She aspires to be a Gymnast. She has a conditional flaw to farts whenever she gets nervous whenever she is near a cute boy she likes (like Junta) thus giving her a flaw she tries to overcome.
Kotomi in the manga, is very shy and gentle and has her flatulent flaws Much like her anime counterpart, however it seems that she has a more rogue personality when she changes of appearance.
Kotomi farts in the anime tend to be average and squeaky sounding but in the manga they are drawn with explosive emphasize in volumes.
as noted, Kotomi's frequent flatulence are triggered out of nervousness that are not of her control.
