2024年7月4日 · 香港都会大学 （英语： Hong Kong Metropolitan University ， 缩写 ： HKMU ），简称 都大 ，是一所位于 香港 九龙 何文田 法定公立大学。 大学由港英政府于1989年成立，是香港第三所获批颁授学位的高等学院 [8] ，亦是香港首所 应用科学大学 [5] ，以及具全面学术自行评审资格的九所公立大学之一 [9] 。 都大在2007年起参与大学联合招生办法（JUPAS）收生。 根据香港都会大学条例，大学因应香港以至整个区域发展需求，积极推动科研，以履行“加强学术研究、促进经济、社会发展”的法定义务 [10] ，大学亦坚守稳健财政原则，政府按需要提供补助金 [11] 。 现任校长为 林群声 教授，校监为特首 李家超 先生。
