When carrying on a regulated activity under the new regime, a licensed insurance intermediary should provide its client with its licence number newly assigned by the Insurance Authority.

The Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers (CIB) For insurance broker companies, the 4-digit Membership Number (including the first digit “0”) should be entered. For technical representatives/chief executives, the 6-digit Registration Number (including the first digit “0”) should be entered.
Check whether a person or a licensed long term insurance agency is registered as a subsidiary intermediary for carrying on regulated activities for a principal intermediary.
