Juvenile court may take advice as to method of dealing with juvenile. A juvenile court may, in determining the method of dealing with a child or young person who has been found guilty of any ofence, take the advice of 2 persons selected by the court from the Panel.
(Chapter 225), the Juvenile Offenders Ordinance (Chapter 226), and the Probation of Offenders Ordinance (Chapter 298), provides statutory care and supervision to mal-adjusted children and juveniles, and young offenders as ordered by the Courts.
The Juvenile Court. Section 3A of the JOO established the Juvenile Court. A juvenile court has jurisdiction over charges against a child or young person other than a charge of homicide. The principle is to separate young offenders from older offenders.
