[編輯] 1917年， 聖若瑟書院 的 修士 在 漆咸道 設立了一所 小學。 當時， 九龍 發展迅速，對學位的需求急增。 時任校長 Brother Aimar Sauron 認為需要在九龍興建一座新的校舍。 1920年代末，他在 九龍仔 界限街 購置了一塊土地，作為發展新校舍之用。 1930年11月5日， 港督 貝璐爵士 為新校舍奠基。 1931年12月3日，校園的設施已經足夠容納八班，共303名學生。 當時學校由聖若瑟書院的五位修士和漆咸道學舍的四位輔助教師共同管理。
