LAM Geotechnics is an approved Works Bureau Group 2 contractor and is eligible to take on ground investigation contracts of any size. We are also an approved contractor for Hong Kong Housing Authority, Buildings Department, and MTRC.

We have over 15 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring. Our first large-scale project is the Lok Ma Chau Main Terminal Building, in collaboration with Lam Construction. Since then, Lam Geotechnics have formed a department solely to serve the growing demand in instrumentation.
This 8-week internship program provides us with meaningful experience in the contractor industry in the ground investigation field. We learn much about geologists and GFT duties through the practical site work. In these 8 weeks, we went to different sites, including marine-based and land-based investigations.
In 1979, Lam Geotechnics evolved into a separate entity to serve the growing demand in geotechnical investigation. Now we are a contributor to mega-scale infrastructure projects and real estate developments.
