  7. In 2022, the quantity of MSW disposed was 11,128 tpd (4.06 million tonnes), which represented a decrease of 2.0% as compared to 2021. Discounting the factor of population growth, the disposal rate of MSW was 1.51 kg/person/day, as compared to 1.53 kg/person/day in 2021. The major component of MSW is domestic waste.
