15 years ago. As the name implies it is a lates booking system, 28 days or less. Bookings made with a longer lead time are made via other Asia Web Direct websites such as Bangkok.com, Phuket.com. We used Phuket.com to get a good deal at a Phuket hotel, and I gather the price was much better than the walk in rate.
Absolutely reliable, only taking a smallish 10% (or so) deposit up front and the balance paid to the hotel at check-in or check-out (depending on the hotel).
