2024年5月23日 · The new firmware v.2.1.1 for Leica M11, M11-M and M11-P is available today. The update includes a number of stability and performance improvements. The improvements: Camera did not start if the start process was previously interrupted by switching off the camera. Occasional generation of incorrect image data has been fixed.
2022年7月29日 · I use Image Capture app on the Mac OS to connect to the M11 via USB (PTP) and download the images from the internal storage to a folder named "C1 Import Folder". This seems to transfer the images very quickly. Once downloaded I just hit the import button in C1 (sessions) which is set to import all images from that folder.
2024年9月12日 · The Body. The M11-D is only available in the same black finish as the M11 and M11-P with the lighter weight aluminium top plate (there is no chrome/brass option this time). Personally I think it would be lovely in black paint, but the matt black is certainly very handsome.
2023年12月8日 · Regarding the dust protection function in the new M11 2.0.2 firmware update. Should that function be kept in the on position or turned on only when a lens change takes place. This is what is stated: "The dust protection function can now be activated manually for lens changes."
2023年11月28日 · As of today, the new firmware v.2.0.2 for Leica M11, M11-M and M11-P is available for installation via the FOTOS app. It may take a few hours until it is available on all devices. From Wednesday (November 29) 3 p.m. (CET) it will also be available for download on the respective product pages and thus for installation via SD card.

It works. - Make sure you have Android Transfer installed (Mac only) - Change Camera Settings>USB Mode to PTP - Connect M11 to your Mac. You can copy data from internal or SD card via Finder. It is not possible to directly import from Lightroom.
2024年8月1日 · The current update contains important bugfixes. • The camera activation process may delay in rare instances. • In rare cases, the use of UHS-I SD may result in some technical issues. An optimization for these SD. cards is planned for a later firmware update. Leica recommends using UHS-II cards to generally avoid.

Lack of customizable controls: not for me. 2. buggy firmware: not for me but i use only UHS-I cards. 3. poor AWB performance: mediocre as usual. 4. poor auto exposure performance: not for me. 5. shutter always feels slow: my opinion. 6. focus peaking is bad: not for me. 7. overpriced battery: just Leica.
