2023年8月28日 · The boxes use an android system to use CarPlay protocol and makes it so you can have wireless and other goodies. Each box is different. The boxes around $100 are “locked” and only will have wireless CarPlay and whatever apps they advertise it comes with.

It's super light weight, never overheats, and has twice the storage and processing power. it has 8gb of RAM vs magic box's 4 GB, so its twice as fast at processing, and never lags. and it has 128 gb of storage as opposed to magic box's 64 gb of storage. also, its $280 with the promo code TCB.
Magic Box in CX-9. Does anyone have experience putting Magic Box or Magic Box 2.0 in CX-9? Given the Magic Box is predominantly designed/oriented towards touchscreen interface (while CX-9 doesn’t have one), it would be helpful to hear some feedback on how you like it and if there are any troubles navigating YouTube, Netflix, etc. with the knob.

Note: Voice coverage through VoLTE is in the process of being rolled out. A CDMA VoiceAmp module is available which plugs into the ethernet port on the Magic Box to provide voice coverage.
