Marine Region practices the ‘Versatile Maritime Policing Response’ strategy. This integrates technologically advanced coastal surveillance systems with an enhanced radar system and a new fleet of high performance vessels, the deployment of which are overseen by the ‘Central Command System’.
MARSAS is a high-tech mobile data transmission system which enables the sharing of real-time situational information between police vessels and command centres.
