2010年8月30日 · Having a Nautilus on strap (5711r) 4yrs and a 5712 1/a now for 1 year I would pick 5712. More comfortable, more versatile. I think 5712 will still be the winner even if 5726 gets a bracelet like 5980 as it is thicker and won't be as comfy as 5712.

I had thought of the AP Royal Oak Chrono but I have finally decided to by the PP Nautlius 5712R. I will be buying this watch second hand, my question is if there have been changes to the model since 2006?
2024年10月23日 · 5712 and its variations. A wrist shot of my 2007 Patek 5712 1/a in daylight. Also attached an Instagram picture from my friend @horoloupe who owns a 3712 and 2018 5712 1/a. Some subtle differences between these three variations. 3712 without a doubt being the rarest, with only around 700-800 models produced between 2005 and 2006.
3 天前 · The 5712 has 60m water resistance and mine got mold on the dial after 3 years. It is only used for normal hand washing and I have never swam with it, hence not too sure how water managed to get in. Maybe it's isolated to my 5712. The dial cost more than 2k to replace. The 5711 and 5726 have good WR at 120m.
2024年9月23日 · Two pieces with similar retail price and complication but the 5712 is a lot more popular. Not trying to debate which one is better but simply trying to understand why the 5726 is the least popular of the family (especially the A-001) even though it has a quintessential PP movement in a quintessential PP case.
2024年1月12日 · One of the biggest motivation for me to get such a nice watch is because my son was just born last year and this watch seems to be the one to be passed over to him in time. Went grey since I specifically asked for the new clasp and have 0 history with the AD.
2021年4月5日 · After years of hard work was finally able to push the trigger on this 5712 - at my local AD. It was actually delivered on the same month my first daughter was born - ironic - as i wanted to "leave" somerhing she one day could remeber of me!
