Child-centered Play Therapy, originated by Virginia Axline as Nondirective Play Therapy, is an approach that emphasizes the provision of therapeutic conditions for children to naturally open up and express themselves fully through their own language – play.
Ms Lottie Lau received her social work training (B.Soc.Sc.) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained her further training in counseling (M.Ed.) from The University of North Texas, where she was formally trained as a play therapist specializing in childcentered approach.
