2021年1月13日 · There is no Web Version of Signal. If you have a Chromebook that can run Linux you can use the Desktop App. Because a web version cannot be considered safe. There is no way to guarantee that a web client would get exactly the files as expected. With a proper "app", there is a signature chain associated with the binary be it desktop or mobile.

I use a fair amount of computers during my day and I can't just download Signal on every single one of them because I feel like it; opening Whatsapp Web is no problem though. Having a solution that works similarly to web.whatsapp would be the thing I'd be looking for, but on posts I found about a year or two old, it seems that they never created the page due to security reasons.
