I was travelling to Manchester and booked my tickets on trainline.com I received confirmation and went to the station to pick them up on the day of travel. I couldn't find a ticket machine to put my credit card into so one of the station members of staff found one that wasn't broken or being repaired.

However, the cashback site it linked through to was free for 30 days and then £10 a month. What I was wondering was if anyone else has signed up to this ...

2020年3月16日 · Trainline may well be bust within a few short weeks as their sales will now begin to dwindle very quickly. It is therefore highly unlikely they will be refunding the cost of a non-refundable ticket. To be clear, the train companies will NOT allow Trainline to refund advance tickets. Trainline have no say in the matter.

2021年8月25日 · 26 August 2021 at 7:13AM. It depends whether 'break of journey' is allowed and you can check that from the restriction code printed on the ticket. On most tickets (but not necessarily advance ones) you can break your outward and return journey at any point along the route and rejoin at the same or a later station.
2023年6月27日 · Charged twice (2 x £91.80) on the Trainline! Today I had to book a last minute trip for tomorrow. To my horror I have been charged twice on the Trainline after I tried booking an off peak return that should have cost £91.80. But the page timed out and I had to start again.
2006年9月21日 · yes, I received a refund from trainline. I stupidly managed to book a return ticket the wrong way round (ie. leaving from the station I wanted to arrive in and vice versa!) I thought it was all ok tbh. I called the customer service and was refunded onto my card pretty quickly.
2022年5月11日 · Trainline are the retailer, not Thameslink - you need to take it up with the Trainline. Why anyone uses the Trainline is beyond me, given they slap on extra fees to tickets and it's not that railcards can't be bought online as there is an official website for them which is pretty user friendly.
