Since 2004, the HKEAA has been administering the Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) on behalf of the Education Bureau. Based on the assessment results of schools, teachers can then adjust their teaching plans to enhance student learning.
The TSA is an assessment administered at the territory level. It facilitates assessment for learning by providing schools with objective data on students' performances in the three subjects of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics at the end of Key Stages 1-3.
What is the TSA? The Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) is divided into two parts: a 90-minute, multiple-choice Thinking Skills Assessment and a 30-minute writing task. If applying for Philosophy, Politics and Economics, you will be required to take both sections of the TSA.
