Palace ticket + equestrian show. This ticket gives access to the Palace at 9:30 am and to the show of the Equestrian Academy of Versailles, depending on the day chosen, on Saturday at 6 pm or on Wednesdays and Sundays as well as December 24, 26 and 31 at 3 pm.
Essential information about opening times and access. The Palace and the estate of Trianon are open every day except on Mondays. The Palace opens at 9:00 am, the estate of Trianon opens at 12:00 pm. The Park and Gardens are open every day.
Creating the gardens was a monumental task. Large amounts of soil had to be shifted to level the ground, create parterres, build the Orangery and dig out the fountains and Canal in places previously occupied solely by meadows and marshes. Trees were brought in from different regions of France.
