You will be met at the airport by our local guides and transferred to your hotel. Today you will have a free afternoon exploring depending on your arrival time, followed by a welcome meeting and dinner with your OFFBEAT leaders and the rest of the participants.
Our team will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the Aloft Kathmandu Hotel where you can check in after long international travel and rest up. Rest of the day rest and free, aside from a kick-off dinner with the group, where introductions will be made and your group leaders will go over the adventure in store.
We will start the day with sunrise photograph on Sao Miguel before checking out of the hotel and heading to the airport to fly to the picturesque island of Faial. We will check into our hotel in late afternoon, have a group dinner, and then set off for astrophotography if conditions allow.
