INTRODUCTION. Revitalised from Mei Ho House, the only surviving Mark I H-shaped resettlement block built in 1954, the hostel provides 129 rooms which are renovated from the original units. The hostel is equipped with nostaigic themed rooms and a heritage museum to introduce you to the district’s unique culture.
Adjacent to Plover Cove Reservoir, the hostel spares you the effort to reach the main dam to enjoy a leisurely stroll, cycling or kite flying. Pick one hiking trail next to the hostel to Pat Sin Leng, Bride’s Pool or Ma Shi Chau Special Area to see sedimentary rocks, followed by a barbecue dinner at the public barbecue site nearby.
