2022年4月29日 · 2022年4月29日. 政府宣布，下月1日取消2020年3月17日因應新冠疫情而對所有海外國家和屬地發出的外遊警示。 政府表示，現時全球疫情主要由Omicron變異病毒株引致，而與香港有密切往來的海外地區疫情呈跌勢，且身處外地的香港居民須完成疫苗接種方可回港，因此市民到海外地區的風險相對較低，現階段可取消對所有海外國家和屬地發出的外遊警示。 政府強調，會繼續透過嚴緊的外防輸入措施和控制指定檢疫酒店數目，限制入境人流和減低輸入個案的風險。 現行登機、檢疫、檢測安排仍會維持。 由於世界各地疫情持續，衞生署呼籲市民避免非必要外遊。 若要外遊，應密切留意當地疫情發展及署方的 旅遊健康建議 。
