   2023年1月6日 · 2023年1月6日. 民政及青年事務局公布，青年宿舍計劃下「 將酒店和旅館轉作青年宿舍用途的資助計劃 」今日開始接受申請。 為進一步支援青年的住屋需要，行政長官在施政報告中宣布，政府會研究不同方式增加青年宿舍供應，包括資助非政府機構租用合適酒店和旅館，並將房間改為青年宿舍用途，目標是在五年內提供額外約3,000個宿位。 立法會財務委員會上月中旬通過撥款推行資助計劃。 民青局表示，計劃既可增加青年宿舍名額的潛在供應，為希望擁有自住空間的合資格青年提供更多元化選擇，也可讓參與的酒店和旅館業界、非政府機構和鄰近社區獲益。 計劃會資助非政府機構向酒店或旅館租用房間，並按需要進行小型改裝或添置設備，供青年租戶日常使用。 資助範圍也涵蓋非政府機構的行政開支、為青年租戶及社區提供的增值和社區服務開支等。
