Forget about VPNs or try to research yourself for a working VPN but as China is trying to cracking down on working VPNs it’s common sense not to tell which VPN is working. But there are even many options for phones without E-SIM in order to get a physical roaming SIM card.
I always use free VPN's and they work fine. Already for years (last time in the beginning of 2019). Just download a few free VPN's before you travel to China. You'll find out if they work if you are in China.
2023年11月18日 · It’s a game of cat and mouse between the VPN providers and the authorities. What works today may not work tomorrow. In the past I have used ExpressVPN successfully. I always get in touch with their customer support before the trip and tell them that I am going to China.
