Yes, we've been using it exclusively in Tokyo, taka Yama, kyoto and osaka. It won't tell you which machine to buy tickets from though! 😀. Besides Google Maps, you might want to try Japan Travel by NAVITIME or Japan Transit Planner. It can be helpful when searching for transfer.
2020年2月17日 · Months ago I had seen on someone's trip review, link to a map that had hundreds of locations in Tokyo for delicious places to eat. Someone had put it together, it seemed to be a popular or well known but all of my searching and googling has brought me nothing.
2018年6月23日 · 10 votes, 34 comments. true For people travelling in Tokyo, most the hotels in popular tourist areas seem to have the free " Tokyo Handy Map" its a bit on the large side when fully opened, but its nice to sit down with a drink and circle the things/places you want to visit and locate the nearest station, plus its a nice keepsake from your trip.
2016年9月22日 · I actually bought a bilingual Tokyo Rail Map from a local book store during my time there, and is actually less confusing than this map, as it groups lines from the same non-JR companies in the same colour rather than trying to give every other line a different colour, as there are only so many colour spectra which the human eye can differentiate.

2023年11月26日 · There’s been a lot of squawking about the new Google Maps color palette, and I’m not a fan, either. I’ve never been a heavy Apple Maps user and used it mostly just for playing around, but with the change over at Google and improved usability with Apple, I’m probably going to change my navigation preferences over to Apple.
