2023年1月22日 · Do HSBC no longer automatically send Physical Secure Key and it has to be specifically requested? I'm familiar with the physical vs digital mainly from similar First Direct and remember it wasn't possible to switch back once on digital so would prefer not to lock myself into the more restrictive and sometimes glitching digital/mobile version just yet.

2008年2月28日 · Hi all, I have been receiving calls from this phone number 08007838422 on my mobile 2 or 3 times a day for weeks. When I answer I end up speaking to an Indian call centre. The male tells me that he is calling me from HSBC and that he has to inform me of something important associated with my account. But first he says I must verify my details.
2021年9月9日 · Im setting up a student account with hsbc, had 3 letters arrive in the post today. account number, sort code, pin, but when i go into the app to set the card up it asks for a telephone security number. i dont have one. i go online and it says to call them uip. i call them up-and it asks for the number i dont have!

They can request one to come in the post, however they may not be able to print off an official statement, but they may be able to do something with your address on and transactions.
2015年5月7日 · 7 May 2015 at 5:58PM. HSBC assign you an account number and sort code, but do not create the account until you've returned the signature strip. The sort code and account number will not show anything for the telephone banking and branch staff. Once you've returned your signature strip, the account is usually opened within a week or so.
