Every Metrolink stop is in a ticket zone. There are four ticket zones, with zone 1 covering stops in the city centre and zone 4 covering stops furthest away from the city centre. When you buy a Metrolink ticket you will choose which zone or zones you want the ticket to be valid in.

On Sunday 3 November, essential tech works will take place across the full Metrolink network. As a result, no trams will operate across all lines from the start of service until 9am. Following the closure, it will take some time for services to resume to normal, with a full timetable operating from approximately 10.30am.
