Background. In Jeff Blue's book "One Step Closer: From Xero to #1: Becoming Linkin Park", he explained how "With You", originally titled "Dust Brothers" came about. Jeff Blue was roomates with the stepfather of Mike Simpson of Dust Brothers. He sent him Xero demos hoping the Dust Brothers would produce something for the band, but they passed.
