GCSE Chinese examination is offered to school candidates only. Schools are required to collect candidates’ information and submit their registrations via IPE Digital Form System during the registration period. Schools are able to upload a group of students in the system by using the function of “Import”.

Under the new syllabuses, candidates are required to sit for two additional papers for the AS-Level Chinese examination, including the listening test and speaking test. Please note that only Mandarin version of the listening materials will be provided by Cambridge and candidates are required to speak in Mandarin for the speaking test .
The following exam boards offer GCSE Chinese: GCSE – AQA and Edexcel. IGCSE – CIE and Edexcel. What you need to know to prepare for and conduct the exams. If you wish to enter your students or candidates with an exam board for GCSE exams, your school or organisation should contact the board to apply for approval as a centre.
