It sounds like winning formula and there is a lot to like about Skies of Fire, the four-part (so far) comic series created by Vincenzo Ferriero and Ray Chou. The art, by Pablo Peppino, is perfect for a dieselpunk story: crisp and elegant.

2018年12月5日 · I haven’t been reviewing much as of late because it’s a bit harder to do reviews as an author with a platform like mine, but I want to make an exception here for Skies of Fire, simply because I loved the book so much. The book was Kickstarter over the summer, comprising of the first 4 issues of already successful Kickstarters that were collected in this edition.
An airship adventure story of loyalty and revenge. The Aquilan empire is under threat by an enemy from the never-ending storm known as the Expanse. A Royal Guard captain, Helen Pierce, takes on the mission to hunt down the unknown vessel.
