Our History. Baleno’s story can be traced back to 1981, when the trademark “BALENO” was registered in Hong Kong. In 1996, Texwinca, the Hong Kong listed company [HKEx: 00321], acquired the trademark "BALENO" and established Baleno Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the British Virgin Islands with limited liability) as the holding company.
After the introduction of the Suzuki Aerio in 2001, the Baleno nameplate was discontinued in Europe and Asia Pacific, and remained in use only in Indonesia. This Baleno was a rebadged Suzuki Aerio sedan, marketed as the Suzuki Baleno Next-G, sold from 2003 to 2007.
