Kylie and macfanboy, A client has approached me to determine whether GST should be payable on AirBNB. The ATO reference provided by macfanboy states "don't need to pay GST on amounts of residential rent you earn". ATO reference (QC 53225) also gives examples in determining if the situation is residential rent or commercial residential premises.

You get put through to the UK, and when they say "then press the GBP sign", press # instead and you get through. The number I use is 02-8520 3333. Not sure if that is the latest number that works.
