From what I can gather, the rescue environment puts one entirely at the mercy of bitdefender and leave no room for human intervention; the feature is not accessible unless bitdefender detects an infection.
When I click on the red bitdefender icon, or right click on the icon and select Open, this pops up: "Communication with bitdefender Security Service failed to be initiated. To retry connection, please click the button below." I can not find a phone number or email

2020年6月1日 · Kindly drop an email to bitdefender support at bitsy@bitdefender.com related to your issue since forum can only provide basic troubleshooting regarding a bitdefender product. The situation where the occurrence of a certain thing is continuous, that can only be resolved by the support team, since it may require intervention from development team also.
So I added a rule for chrome.exe even though it's already on bitdefender's whitelist and turned the firewall back on & restarted chrome but chrome won't connect again. Of course I don't want to keep firewall disabled just so I can use chrome and I know there's gotta be a way to fix this and I'm sure it's obvious so answer so any suggestions would be appreciated!
