Local applicants and Non-local Non-Mainland applicants who hold nationality from Belt and Road Countries who would like to be considered for admission via the Students with Exceptional Talent Direct Admission Scheme (SETDAS) can indicate their intention to participate in SETDAS via the Online Application System.
Local and non-local applicants with post-secondary education background may apply for admission to our full-time government-funded undergraduate programmes through the Direct (Non-JUPAS) Admissions Scheme. For example:
Non-JUPAS Admission Scheme is for local and non-local applicants who are applying for admission on the basis of qualifications other than Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) or National Joint College Entrance Examination (JEE) results of the current year.

The following candidates are eligible to apply for Year One admission through SETDAS: Local Non-JUPAS applicants seeking for admission with non-DSE qualifications; or Non-local Non-Mainland applicants who hold nationality* from any country participating.
