2022年3月24日 · With HKBN, you should be able to search your building and find out if they offer connections - which might still be restricted due to internal capacity issues. 2009年8月5日 · Usually there is a penalty fee if you break the contract & you will be liable for the prorated amount....2/3 in your case. 2016年8月10日 · I cannot vouch for i-Cable's business or bandwidth other than "the father in law" is happy with his bandwidth - he does not stream / download, mostly browses, watches youtube etc. Thanks Shri. Yeah I think a lot of people are just parroting what they've heard or read online regarding iCable, but I have had a few people who are subscribers who've told me they are not happy with their service.
2022年3月19日 · SmartOne is the only reasonable 5G home broadband on the market at the moment since it provides FUP (which is also why it gets overloaded). In my experience it's good as long as whatever you are connecting to has a Point of Presence in Hong Kong.

Many home broadband comparison articles online list a $230-240/mo service charge for 1000M (private residence) offered by Netvigator (PCCW/HKT), which is slightly more expensive than competition but more or less in line with the market ($180-230/mo).
2022年4月24日 · The buildings were reasonably new so unsure if older buildings have more issue. I first used 200m then upgraded to 1g fiber mid-contract for $10 extra a month! never had issue and work 100% full time at home. also download at 800mbits with Ethernet cable. Wi-Fi limited to 300ish due to my router.
2008年12月9日 · HGC has had the worst history of problems according to locals. I-cable has a bad reputation in Hong Kong. I was with Netvigator for 3 years before, and they were stable.
