2023年2月27日 · If you play online games: ANY disconnection while EA app is open (not just while the game is open) requires that you quit the app AND shut down the EA background service to use network play. Many times I have booted up BF4 only to need to shut it down and restart a bunch of * apps, simply because I rely on my phone as wired hotspot and I carry my phone with me when I leave the desk.

The games must be authorised online at the first time you start them, after that you can set Origin to offline mode. If a Game is not starting when launched in Origin's offline mode then try the following: Exit out of origin.
But launching the game, the game kept crashing and is completely unusable. I tried restarting the computer - DID NOT ALLOW ORIGIN TO UDPATE - and it still managed to push through the effing update forcing the install of the new EA app. I guess I'll check if EA games are usable again in a few months or so. 27. + XP.
