If you are not eligible to apply through JUPAS or are seeking admission on the strength of qualifications other than HKDSE results, you will need to submit your application directly to PolyU. Online applications can be made via our eAdmission .
Between December and July (for both design and non-design specialisms) Suitable candidates may be invited to interview at PolyU or via Microsoft Teams. The admission interview is for the BA Scheme, not individual specialism. All students will start the programme with 2 common semesters.
Starting from the 2022/23 academic year, PolyU will adopt departmental scheme-based admission instead of programme-based admission in order to provide a broader educational base and a more flexible progression pathway for students, as well as a more agile mechanism to meet changing societal manpower needs.
In view of this, two new programme elements, namely “Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics” (AIDA) and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” (IE), have been incorporated into the General University Requirements.
Curriculum Framework. Distinctive Features. Our 4-year undergraduate curriculum provides a broad-based education to complement the strong professional orientation of our schemes / programmes. The minimum credit requirement for graduation is 120 credits.
Non-JUPAS admittees to government-funded full-time Bachelor's Degree schemes / programmes are required to pay an initial fee of HK$5,000 (for local students) when they take up their offer. The initial fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable, will be converted to form part of the first semester tuition fee.
