2024年4月29日 · I've used NINJA WiFi for five trips to Japan and never had any issues with them. They have convenient pickup and drop off locations at the airports and discount codes can be found easily. I plan on using them again for future trips.

You would have to carry an extra piece of equipment anyway, either the pocket WiFi or the external battery pack for your phone. Pocket WiFi : costs a lot more than eSIM, have to pick up/return, $$$$ if lost or damaged.
2024年4月29日 · 24 reviews. 38 helpful votes. Pocket WiFi Rental Experience? 13 years ago. Anyone have any experiences with pocket wifi rentals? Global, Pupuru and Rentafone are offering them at reasonable prices now. Softbank is also offering one but it is 2x-3x more expensive for the same thing.

2024年4月11日 · Answer 1 of 9: In Tokyo, Dubai, Hong Kong, and basically all major airports, they have stands for "pocket wifi" portable hotspot rentals just like they would car rentals. Does shanghai's airport have this? I really need to know as my trip depends...
