From Kyoto go to Shinagawa, then transfer to Keikyu line to go to Haneda. About 3 hours total to get to the airport from Kyoto station.

We only flew business or premium economy so can’t comment, but I’d definitely avoid BA - we flew to Japan with them once and it’s just not worth the money. 4.

Note you can only walk on the eastern side of the Bridge (closest to the Opera House). the western side (near the railway line) is for bikes only. Plus the eastern walk has access to the Harbour Bridge Pylon (pay a fee and 200 steps up to better views and way from the traffic).
