Note that you have to go to higher elevations otherwise the lower portion of Mt Fuji are likely be blocked, as viewed from Mishima station.

It'd be a pity to skip it for that reason, as if skipping Tokyo / Kyoto / Osaka in Japan, or Sydney/Melbourne in Australia.

While your hotel is closest to the Higashi-Ginza subway station served by the Keikyu Airport express train in abt 40 min direct, it's more crowded in general as it serves b/w HND and NRT direct. 16.
