  3. A stretch should be specific to the muscle that needs it. It is like scrubbing a pot clean; if you don’t scrub where the food material is stuck, then you are wasting your time. Your massage therapist can help you identify which muscle (or muscles) needs stretching

  4. Massage helps to relieve post-exercise muscle soreness. However, if the soreness is chronic due to poor posture, then you need to improve your posture. This can be done through stretching, strengthening and improved body awareness. If the soreness is due to deconditioning, then you will have to build up the strength in your muscles again.
