2024年4月13日 · Hello, I’m planning a 10 day trip to Japan with my parents who are in their 70’s. It’ll be mid June, i’m thinking 4-5 days in tokyo, 2 days osaka, 2 days kyoto. I appreciate any advice regarding where to book our hotel in Tokyo. They’d enjoy parks, shrines, street markets, food markets etcc.

I do recall seeing some traditional-style homes (only one with a thatched roof even back then) but none of the distinctive gassho-zukuri houses that Shirakawago it known for. Gero is an onsen (hot spring) town on the way to Takayama.
2024年4月9日 · The temperature gets up to 30 degrees (mid 80's F) though usually, it's not muggy like Tokyo. See the outdoor areas of Hokkaido, you will need sun protection for sure. By the late afternoon, it will be quite comfortable. Overall, Hokkaido is one of the best places in Japan to see in the summer if you want to avoid heat and humidity.
