   2022年7月29日 · 政府於 2020 年 12 月 22 日全面實施指定檢疫酒店計劃，規定所有外地抵港人士必須在指定檢疫酒店進行強制檢疫，以減少來自外地的旅客與本地社區的接觸。 這些人士不是確診或懷疑感染病人，亦不是 密切接觸者 ，他們沒有任何病徵。 此外，他們在前往指定檢疫酒店前已在機場採集 快速檢測 樣本進行檢測，結果呈陰性方可到酒店進行檢疫。 成為檢疫酒店須遵守以下嚴格要求，包括： 所有指定酒店已由相關部門（衞生署、機電工程署、屋宇署等）進行核查，確保酒店的設計、設施及工作流程符合感染控制要求； 酒店在計劃期間不得接受非檢疫客人入住； 除已作有效分隔的大堂範圍、停車場等外，公眾人士不得進入酒店範圍； 酒店須採取一切合理步驟，確保檢疫人士在檢疫期間不得離開房間，亦不能接受訪客探訪；
