The Peace Park museum can be very moving and sobering. Himeji Castle is one of the best castles in Japan. Many parts authentic and you can walk around inside.

If so were you happy with cleanliness, room size (understand rooms typically are small) and was location close to train and popular tourist spots eg Shibuya Crossing.

Probably, entry is possible but whatever may happen on your own risk. It's in rural and no one recognizes you if you're in trouble. Disposing dirty swimming wear is charged there.
