Looking at my itinerary/schedule for days in Kyoto and wondering if Kiymizu-dera would be best fit on: (mid May) - Tuesday morning around 10:00 after Fushimi Inari (would get a taxi to Kiymizu-dera) - Thursday afternoon after 15:00. I know it gets crowded there, but also heard the sunset view is stunning.

2024年4月28日 · Re: 8 days. Apr 28, 2024, 12:18 PM. Decide which city to stay first. Most first-time visitors would stay in Kyoto, but many people love Osaka, too. If you stay in Kyoto, there is no need to move to Osaka on the last day unless your flight is super early in the morning. Edited: 12:18 pm, April 28, 2024. Reply.

There are more hotels/ryokans around the Furano station, which is also served by highway bus from Sapporo direct in 2 hours. In comparison, there are more pensions in Biei though widely spread out in the undulating plains.

Lots of reviews on various sites including tripadvisor. 4.1 out of 5 on various Japanese language booking sites. High score. I have stayed at other Via Inns and all are very modern and stylish.
