Would like to visit 3 major cities without rushing: Tokyo, Kyoto and one more. Which would be the third city, most recommendable to complete best experience for first timers?
4 天前 · Settaya Trip Report. Apr 14, 2024, 1:03 AM. Save. Settaya has a number of sake and miso manufacturing facilities set amidst historic buildings. It's not a big area and I took about 2 hours to explore the small shops, buildings, and museum. From Niigata, take the Shinkansen to Nagaoka and transfer to the JR Joetsu Line 1 stop to Miyauchi.

5 天前 · Answered: I had not asked any questions, but read continuously all forum entries for a year. I was able to plan a perfect 2 weeks trip during Sakura time in Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Nara, Uji, Hiroshima, Osaka and Himeji. Thank you all for the help and wisdom!

4 天前 · 73 helpful votes. Shinkansen Tickets need to reserve? Apr 14, 2024, 11:34 AM. Save. I'll ride the Shinkansen on June 5 to Kyoto and return to Tokyo June 6. It looks like ticket sales for this date opens a month prior.
