Who we are. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJCDPRI) was set up in 2014 with the generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Housed in and led by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, the HKJCDPRI aims to build a prepared community in Hong Kong to respond to disasters.
HKJCDPRI is based at the HKAM, and partners with CCOUC, HKU and Harvard. We focus on the need for competencies on knowledge, skills as well as attitude to reduce disaster loss and suffering. Join us in our training and exchange activities to build a community of practice in disaster preparedness and response.

2016年5月14日 · 14 May, 2016 Saturday. 兩岸四地防災減災暨永續發展大學聯盟. 香港賽馬會災難防護應變教研中心加入兩岸四地防災減災暨永續發展大學聯盟，其他成員包括香港理工大學、四川大學，以及內地、澳門及台灣五所大學。 聯盟旨在大中華地區促進災難相關的知識交流，並合辦災難防護及可持續發展學術課程。 香港賽馬會災難防護應變教研中心在啟動活動中，分享香港從社區做起、由下而上的抗災能力建設工作。 香港賽馬會災難防護應變教研中心社區計劃項目經理Angel Ng女士，在與香港理工大學及北京師範大學合辦的科學環節，發表題為「建設具抗災能力的安全城市」的演講 。 兩岸四地防災減災暨永續發展大學聯盟代表合照留念。
